In her latest buletin, Irenee Rajoana-Horne from Money for Madgascar outlines the latest news from the projects that the UWI have supported through the Madagascar Appeal

Thankfully Madagascar is out of lockdown now and schools reopened last week.

Today we have sent the first of the Year 2 payments for AAF and for Topaza, which they will be using to support the costs of the new school term, as well as the next stages of their training and farming activities respectively.

We are also very happy to have at last sent the first payment to CTI College Theologique Ivato. It’s great to have finally launched with them. We look forward to bringing you news of this project soon.

We are ready to send the next payment to SAF dispensary as soon as they are ready for it.

Although we are all back in lockdown here in the UK, it is good to have some good news, and to see a bit of normality coming back in Madagascar. Please thank you members again for the breath of life that continues to flow from the UWI grants to help our 4 projects build their recovery.

With warmest wishes,

Irenee
