If at first you don’t succeed: Tantely’s story

Posted on

Tantely arrived at the Akany Avoko Faravohitra centre in 2016. She was illiterate. Thanks to the support of Money for Madagascar, she was able to be educated using the ASAMA* system and obtained her CEPE [primary school] diploma in 2018. She also followed a vocational training course in hairdressing and beauty in 2019. She sat her BEPC [GCSE equivalent] exam this year, 2021, unfortunately she failed this time around. However, she remains motivated to pursue her dream and to retake her BEPC exam in the 2021–2 school year. We wish her the best!
