Recently we heard that Money for Madagascar, the charity that administers the money raised by the Union of Welsh Independents for the Madagascar Appeal in 2018-19, had recently managed to secure funding in order to supply hot meals for children in a number of schools in Madagascar. This scheme will include two of the projects supported by the Union’s Madagascar Appeal.
This means that the children will be given a hot meal each school day, which is excellent news. This development is exciting and to be welcomed greatly, we shall receive more details about this scheme in the new year.
